Guten Tag! ~~ Hello!

MIETDAUER ~~ DURATION OF LEASE:
~~ ungefähr ab Ende Juni ziehe ich in eine neue Wohnung ein, und suche deswegen ein WG-Zimmer oder eine Wohnung für 2-3 Monate. Beim Einzugsdatum bin ich ganz flexibel (theoretisch schon ab sofort).
~~ Sometime around the end of June I will move into a new flat, which is why I'm looking for an apartment or room in a shared flat for the next couple of months. The move-in date is completely open (theoretically I could move in immediately).

WER ZIEHT EIN ~~ WHO IS MOVING IN:

Meine Freundin (29), mit der ich in Fernbeziehung bin, kommt irgendwann ab Ende Juni zu Besuch.

MÖBLIERT?? ~~ FURNISHED??
~~ Muss nicht sein. Wenn es Möbel gibt, wäre es praktisch, aber ich könnte auch Dinge kaufen, die ich denn zur nächsten Wohnung mitnehme.

ÜBER MICH ~~ ABOUT ME:
~~ Ich bin US-Amerikaner und wohne seit 2013 im Deutschland. Ich habe hier und in Lüttich (Belgien) studiert, weil ich Fremdsprachen mag. Ich bin Kirchenmusiker und Pianist vom Beruf; Ich habe auch Arbeitserfahrungen in einer Buchhandlung, in Küchen, und als Lehrer beim StudienKreis gesammelt. Ich bin Kaffeesüchtig und koche Eier jeden Tag zum Frühstück (oft als Omelett mit verschiedenen Zutaten, u.a. ein scharfes Habanero-Chili). Ich trinke gerne ein Bierchen zum Feierabend, zocke Videospiele ab und zu, und gucke, was es neu auf Netflix gibt. Je nach Tag und Arbeitsplan gehe ich gerne mit meiner Hündin zum Park oder am Rhein. Ich bin auch Nichtraucher und kein Party-Mensch.
~~ I'm a US-American and live in Germany since 2013. I've studied here and in Liège, Belgium, because I like foreign languages. I'm a church organist and pianist in my profession; I also have gained work experience in a bookstore, in kitchens, and as a tutor at Studienkreis. I'm addicted to coffee and cook eggs every day for breakfast (often as an omelet with varying ingredients, including spicy habanero peppers). I enjoy drinking a beer at the end of the day, playing video games from time to time, and watching what's now on Netflix. Depending on the day and my work schedule I also enjoy taking my dog to the park or to the Rhein. I don't smoke and I'm not a heavy partier.

WOHNUNGSKRITERIEN ~~ CRITERIA OF THE FLAT:

1. Wenn die Wohnung vom Zentrum weit entfernt ist, sollte es in der Nähe gute Anschlussmöglichkeiten auf öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel geben, am Besten sowohl S-Bahn als auch Stadtverkehr.
2. Wenn im Haus kein Aufzug vorhanden ist, will ich - vor allem wegen des Hunds - nicht höher als im 3. OG wohnen.

1. If the flat is far away from the city center, there should be good access nearby to public transportation, the best case would be with S-Bahn as well as city transport.
2. If there is no elevator in the building, I do not wish to live any higher than the 3rd floor (particularly due to the dog).
